Dodge Just Gave the Durango a Red, White, and Blue Makeover
by AutoExpert | 2 April, 2026
Dodge is marking America’s 250th birthday with a special edition, and it lands on the Durango. This is the 2026 Durango GT America250.
Shown in New York, it is the first production model tied to Stellantis’ America250 partnership. Whether that means anything beyond timing is up to you.

Most of the changes are cosmetic, but a few stand out. The Durango GT gets Black Laguna leather seats, which usually sit on higher trims. They come with blue perforated inserts, embossed American flags, and red and white stitching. The theme continues with a matching steering wheel, Demonic Red seat belts, and forged carbon fiber trim.

Outside, it leans fully into the theme. There are dual stripes with star patterns and blue accents, America250 decals on the fenders, and 20-inch Black Noise wheels. The look is strongest on White Knuckle models, where the stripe package is exclusive, but other colors include Red Oxide, Night Moves blue, Destroyer Gray, and Diamond Black.

Underneath, nothing really changes. The GT Plus AWD uses the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. If that does not feel right for this kind of theme, there is still a V8. The GT HEMI Plus and GT HEMI Premium use a 5.7-liter V8 with 360 hp.

Now, about pricing. The V8 GT HEMI Plus starts at $51,270, which is only $1,680 more than the V6 at $49,590. That gap feels smaller than expected. Orders open in early April.
The Durango is not new anymore, and you can tell, but Dodge keeps finding ways to stretch its life. This is one of them.
