You think this Bowler Raptor is able to cross the dunes on Mars?

This concept car from 2009 has been created by Ryan Skelley, who is a graduate from Coventry University. He is also the author of the Sunbeam Tiger concept.

The car was meant to participate in the off-road race in Mexico Baja since it is a well developed Buggy Dune and can easily handle the bumpy terrain. The design is pretty aggressive, yet functional. The chassis is assembled in such a manner, that most of the components are independent of each other and, thus, can easily be replaced in case of being out of order.

You will discover lots of intelligent little hacks used on this car. For example, the carbon fiber body manages to insure the driver a beautiful feeling of speed and freedom.

All of the details of the car match perfectly, like the wheels made out of alloy or the buggy dune paddle tires. The latest digital technology served as the main source of inspiration for creating such beautiful contrasts. Nevertheless, lots of the materials used for building this concept car are eco-friendly and the result is simply incredible.

Bowler Raptor is powered by an electrical driving train, with two sets of lithium-titanium batteries. The charging system allows the batteries to be recharged from a simple socket or by using the Hot-swap system.

The car's interior ensures high protection to the passengers, especially at a lateral and head level. This is truly important since we are talking about an off-road car. The special board center can host an iPhone and ensure a permanent internet connection, which will allow real-time updates, statistics, GPS data, or simply a connection with the rest of the team.

We do love the aggressive style of the car, which comes wrapped up in original ideas and with an electric drive train. Still, this is simply a concept car.
