Would You Travel In A Hongqi L-Concept Chinese Full-Autonomy Luxurious Limo?

Every country has its favorite brand that perfectly fits the nationalist demands. If you think of the Chinese market, the Hongqi brand is your choice number one. This is both a luxury brand and the oldest one in China. The brand is starring the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show with its most striking concepts.

This first impression over the L-Concept will be the beautiful shining exterior, while at a closer look you will be amazed by the model's muscular full-size four-door sedan, fastback roofline, rear suicide doors, three seats sedan.

The exterior is the most opulent you'll ever see and it does not consist in striking color, but mostly in the L-Concept's luxurious two-tone shiny body and the diamond pattern on the rear window. The three-seat layout interior is a bit unusual for a limo, but the L-Concept proves it wrong. The interior reveals a missing front passenger seat and steering wheel. The missing front seat ensures maximum comfort for the correspondent, leaving the seat, allowing freely moves towards the front.

Weirdly, Hongqi opted for the chandelier hanging between the rear passengers. Also, the L-Concept reveals a plenitude of copper-like trim, crystals, LED strips, and polished veneer. The dual-tone leather upholstery along with thick wool carpets might still sustain the vehicle's idea of luxury, while a chandelier makes it memorable beyond imagination.

Another feature to make you even more curious to give it at least a test drive is the full-autonomous drive. Believe - there is no steering wheel. The biggest step into the future, right? So, you have the chandelier, two wide displays across the dashboard, and continuous wood trims.

So far, we were allowed to enjoy the visual car without any tech specs revealed. This streaming L-Concept will be launch for production in 2023. Until then, enjoy the photo gallery below.
