There is a special appreciation for oddities. So, here's the Whale Trailer Cabin, complete with all of its pieces that extend. It's unusual to see one based on a sea animal, so this trailer certainly qualifies as intriguing.

Whale Trailer Cabin with a single-axle trailer is tiny and simple to haul in transport mode, and the organic design with blue over white gradients offers it a whale-like look. It's up to you if that type of stuff appeals to you, but it won't be confused with the dozens of usual trailers at the campsite.

This is particularly true after you've set up the Whale Trailer Cabin for camping. The whole back of the vehicle opens up, enabling a slide-out interior to extend forward, roughly doubling the amount of living space. A tiny pop-up roof on the slide part adds headroom, while a huge pop-up roof on the main body adds even more capacity. 

When the weather is favorable, a slide-out kitchen enables for outside entertaining, and the rear clamshell may remain open for breathtaking views while resting inside.

Sadly, there aren't any specs available at this time. It's a design created by Chinese designer Hu Yong for local camping aficionados. It just earned a Red Dot Design Award and is currently being developed for production.
