Will Imperia GP Become The New Standard For Hybrids?

Imperia GP is a car brand that produced luxury vehicles in Belgium between 1900 and 1950. It decided to come back with this 2008 GP concept, running on a hybrid drive train, with a 2 liters engine working on fuel, producing 174 hp paired with an electric engine, with a power of 134 hp.
The GP internal combustion engine starts working when the battery needs to be recharged. The car has extremely low CO2 emissions and is the only car model in the world that can be charged through a simple socket in as little as 4 hours.
The neo-retro style is present in all of the designs. There is a vertical grille on the front radiator that may be perceived as a hint to improved aerodynamics, but it actually works as an airflow regulator.
Don't get fooled by the ecological drive train. The car has good performances, able to reach in the electric mode the first 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. When in the hybrid model, this time comes to an impressive 4.8 seconds.
