Meet the new Suzuki Misano and enjoy the greatest concept designed exclusively by the students of the Master in Transportation Design at IED Torino. Of course, this is a project developed in collaboration with the Japanese carmaker.

The concept is part a speedster and part a motorcycle, this one is interesting to dive in. A study in speedster design shows off the unusual off-center tandem seating layout able to connect Suzuki’s car with motorcycle expertise. The concept is dubbed Misano, after the famous Italian racetrack.

With a non-traditional steering wheel and pedals, the Suzuki Misano has a control stick inspired by motorcycles. Also, the electric vehicle features an offset positioning of the seats, making room for both battery pack and boot space. Did we tell you that this is an electric Barchetta?

According to Kimihiko Nakada, Suzuki Design Center Director, the concept developed in collaboration with IED made the Misano a "thesis born out of the passion of young designers and developed as a project in a design center to offer the next generation a new lifestyle experience”.

The pictures show a front end with a set of distinctive arrow-shaped headlights mounted together with a grille. Next is a setup that repeats itself on the rear of the vehicle. Featuring a single door on the left has a glass panel, allowing the driver to get "a closer to the road experience."

The Suzuki Misano was designed by 24 IED students of Torino’s Master in Transportation Design from all over the world - Italy, India, Turkey, France, Israel, Lebanon, Spain, Albania, Belgium. No wonder, the Suzuki Misano concept is a breakthrough in the avalanche of the recent auto -concepts. You'll be able to see the Suzuki at the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile di Torino from May 15 to June 6.
