Toyota Modellista’s U.S. Debut Brings Bold Land Cruiser Concept To SEMA

Toyota’s customization branch, Modellista, is kicking off its U.S. arrival in style, bringing a revamped Land Cruiser 250-Series to SEMA with a look that’s rugged yet refined.

Leading the pack, the Land Cruiser concept’s front end boasts a striking, uninterrupted LED light bar positioned above the headlights, creating a seamless glow that feels more premium and polished than typical aftermarket options.

Modellista’s upgrades don’t stop at lighting. The Land Cruiser now sports headlight protectors, a chunky front bumper with green accents, and a solid skid plate, while thick cables connect the hood to the A-pillars, underscoring its adventurous side.

Along the sides, chunky mud-terrain tires hug custom wheels, complemented by black cladding on the doors and quarter panels. Functional carrying boxes over the rear windows add both storage and style. Moving to the back, Modellista has reworked the bumper, added a new tailgate and taillights, and included a ladder for simple roof access.

A roof rack featuring red and white LEDs completes the off-road package on top. Modellista, which teased its U.S. entry at last year’s SEMA Show with a few Lexus and Toyota prototypes, says elements from this Land Cruiser design could shape future American releases.
