Toyota Electric Truck Concept Is Almost Certainly A Tacoma EV

New electric vehicles have been released yesterday by both Toyota and Lexus to provide an EV for everyone. By 2025, the business plans to introduce 15 BEVs, seven of which will bear the bZ name. That number will rise to 30 by 2030. One of the more intriguing cars on display yesterday was an electric pickup truck that resembled a Toyota Tacoma EV.  

With its black bumper and horizontal fog lights, it has a striking resemblance to the new Tundra. The vehicle also has headlights inspired by the Tundra. Moving back, there are prominent fender flares and blacked-out A-pillars, which merge into a black roof.

The truck also sports a Tundra-like exterior and a crew cab layout with a recognizable greenhouse. The back end of the truck was barely seen, but it has unique taillights that are similar to those on the Tundra. The rear bumper, however, is not as securely merged as its larger interpretation. Toyota did not provide much information about the vehicle, although it does not appear to be built on a specific BEV chassis.

The electric truck is anticipated to be based on the next-generation Tacoma, despite the lack of official confirmation. The basic model is scheduled to arrive in the next year or two, and it will be based on the same TNGA-F platform as the Tundra and Land Cruiser.
