This Genesis XV Study Is Designed To Compete With The Lamborghini Urus

Allow us to introduce Younghyun Jo, a talented automotive designer from Korea, who's taken on an exciting personal project—the creation of what could be the ultimate Genesis SUV, named the Genesis XV.

This brainchild is crafted to deliver a sporty performance akin to the Lamborghini Urus Performante, all while being much more budget-friendly. Interestingly, the Genesis XV embodies a blend of familiar design elements, showcasing LED headlights reminiscent of those seen on the brand's X Speedium Coupe Concept and the X Convertible Concept.

The sharply designed wheel arches, which drew inspiration from the contours of an aircraft's jet engine, will catch your attention as you turn to the profile. Taking a modern approach, traditional wing mirrors are replaced with sleek cameras, and the design embraces angular lines and creases, for a bolder and even more dynamic look.

To add a distinctive touch, the C-pillars sport a unique design, formed by two thick triangles artfully connected. Now, let's talk about the rear. The design here catches the eye with full-width LED light bars, tasteful black accents, and a 3D mesh pattern. While the future production of such an SUV by Genesis remains uncertain, the Genesis XV stands as a testament of letting imagination soar in the world of automotive design.
