This Futuristic Nebula Next 01X EV Comes From A Home Gadget Company

Dreame Technology is mostly known for robot vacuums and home gadgets. Now it wants to build cars. The company recently unveiled a new concept, the Nebula Next 01X, at the China Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics Expo, and it looks nothing like what you would expect from a vacuum maker.
The 01X is a tall, coupe-style electric crossover and part of Dreame’s growing automotive plan. The company has not yet put a single production car on the road, but it already mentions three brands: Nebula Next, Kosmera, and Star Motor. The 01X follows the earlier Nebula Next 01 shown earlier this year. Think of it as that same idea, just lifted into crossover form.

Design-wise, the connection is obvious. The SUV keeps the same bright green paint, sharp LED headlights, and carbon fiber details from the coupe. The shape is stretched upward and resembles a sporty crossover, sitting between a supercar and an SUV. It even lands visually close to cars like the Ferrari Purosangue, at least in spirit.

The more surprising claims come from what Dreame says sits underneath. The company says it has developed a solid-state battery that is ready for production. According to Dreame, the pack uses 60 Ah cells and delivers an energy density of 450 Wh/kg. The company also claims the vehicle could deliver up to 1,876 horsepower and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 1.8 seconds.

Those numbers sound impressive, but the bigger question is whether any of this will actually reach production. Plenty of companies have jumped into the EV space recently. Some, like Xiaomi and NIO, managed to turn tech ambitions into real cars. Many others have not.

For Dreame, the real challenge starts now. Showing a concept is the easy part. Building a car people can actually buy is a very different story. The Nebula Next 01X shows the company is thinking big. Whether it ever becomes more than a concept will only become clear over the next few years.
