Behold, after yesterday we published on allautoexpert the first official sketches of the fourth generation of the Kia Sportage, already, many sites similar international automotive identified concept in motion.

Built on the same platform with Hyundai Tucson, the new Kia Sportage seems to have grown in size. At least at first glance, the Korean SUV looks more muscular and more imposing. Especially in the front were due to the elongated body headlamps, of the grille, lowered toward the middle, creating the volume effect.

Unfortunately, we cannot show the Extension of the new model, but you could retain the previous post, we can be sure that the new Sportage will be equally attractive. Kia promised to please us with high-quality materials borrowed from Sorento and Optima, so the luxury ambiance will be like at home.

As Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage share the same platform, do not be surprising if the latter will borrow and the engines, including the drive unit of 1.6-liter, naturally aspirated, which develops 135 horsepower and turbo version of its 176 horsepower. On the diesel engines, we can expect to see the powerful 1.7-liter and 115 horsepower, followed by a 2.0-liter big brother, which delivers between 136 and 184 horsepower, depending on the version.

The customers will have a choice between the six-speed manual transmission and automatic with six speeds, or a seven-speed dual-clutch. The front-wheel-drive is standard, but optional AWD system can be switched on.
