The Chinese people progress. Here's the new flagship model of those from Geely, the GC9 concept.

Geely plans to launch a new model to represent the Chinese brand on the European market. It is about the GC9 concept, presented last year at the Shanghai Auto Show, which will debut in December in a version number.

If some "car manufacturers" from China, prefer to copy entirely a successful European model, which present it then as an independent model, then those from Geely is trying to become a popular brand with its own forces. One example is the attraction to the part of the company of the chief designer at Volvo, Peter Horbury, and the results of this collaboration will appear soon.

Therefore, Geely may become more competitive in the European market, presenting a car with a fresh design, very restrained and elegant, as well equipped from the point of view of the new technologies available today. Also, here may be added the high rating obtained at C-NCAP testing!

In terms of engines, Geely aims to equip the new model with three units on gasoline, a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated, another 1.8-liter volume turbo and a version equipped with V6 of 3.5-liter, all coupled to the automatic transmission with six steps of own production!
