The Alpine A4810 Is IED's Interpretation Of The 2035 Hydrogen-Powered Hypercar

Known as the A4810, IED's newest collab with Alpine has been unveiled. Following a requirement imposed by the automaker's own design team, the talented students built the hydrogen-powered super-berlinette as a concept for an Alpine hypercar in 2035.

The car was dubbed after Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps at 4,810 meters, which separates Italy and France and serves as a "trait-d'union" between the Italian university (IED) and the French carmaker (Alpine).
The A4810 boasts hypercar dimensions, measuring 5,091 mm (200.4 inches) in length, 2,010 mm (79.1 inches) in width, and 1,055 mm (41.5 inches) in height, with a 2,717 mm wheelbase (107 inches).

Massive intakes and aerodynamic apertures punctuate the blue-painted exterior, with a prominent carbon-fiber splitter on the extended front overhang. The objective was to visually lighten the car by employing F1-style aerodynamics. With vertically organized taillights embedded in shards of glass, a center fin displaying the Alpine logo, and two high-mounted exhaust pipes, the rear end is mostly bare.

The A4810 is described by IED as a mighty and fast concept automobile that gives pure driving enjoyment, but no details for the powertrain have been released. The hypercar was the culmination of 28 students' thesis projects for the Master in Transportation Design course at IED Turin.

The Alpine A4810, like earlier IED concept automobiles such as the Honda Tomo (2019) and the Suzuki Misano (2021), will stay a design study. The futuristic supercar, according to Raphael Linari, Alpine Chief Designer, illustrates new territory for the brand in terms of packaging, dimensions, and design style.
