Le Mans just got a whole lot more exciting with the arrival of the new hypercar class! And as if that wasn't enough, Italy-based Camal Studio has unveiled their stunning TEST/1 concept, adding even more fuel to the fire.

The new concept car is breaking free from the constraints of the Le Mans Hypercar rules, which require teams to use a hybrid powertrain capped at 670 hp. The engine, which theoretically runs on kerosene and is based on the turbojet principle, has a maximum power output of 5,000 horsepower. Also, the TEST/1 can reach speeds of up to 280 miles per hour due to its low drag coefficient of 0.20.

The TEST/1 concept is a true masterpiece, as the company has skillfully incorporated sculptured lines and solid volumes into its design. The cockpit boasts a stunning all-glass design. The glass panel not only offers a stunning view of the chassis, but it also showcases the innovative additive technology used in its design. Plus, the halo at the very top serves as a sleek and functional feature, providing essential rollover protection.

TEST/1 concept

Did you know that the design of this car was actually inspired by a test vehicle produced by Fiat back in 1954? Despite its hypercar proportions, the TEST/1 concept pays homage to the classic Fiat Turbina. The car boasted a sleek and stylish design that was all the rage at the time. Despite its relatively modest jet engine, it was still able to produce an impressive 295 horsepower, allowing it to reach a top speed of 160 miles per hour. However, the TEST/1 is simply an experimental design that will help them test out new concepts for future vehicles.
