This Saab 9-Griffin concept comes from Joonhyung Park as his university final work, which set the target of producing a brand new luxurious sedan.
The first thing that strikes you when you see this Saab 9-Griffin us the enhanced asymmetry, which stands for the idea that the driver can be involved both outsides and inside the car, without compromising the meaning of a luxurious sedan.
What does this actually mean? The designer believed that by placing the driver a little bit more upfront than the right passenger would somehow change the design, especially where it concerns the windshield and the chassis. The driver is, thus, protected by some sort of bubble, created around him.
The access into the Saab 9-Griffin is possible in two ways: the passenger's side has a large door that allows access to all the passenger seats in the car, and the driver will enter the car through access formed out of a lateral door and a retractable roof.
