Renderings Depict A Completely Redesigned Alfa Romeo Montreal

Geneva Motor Show hosted the debut of the Alfa Romeo Montreal in 1970. Eventually, the stunning coupe would have a production run that lasted for seven years. After fifty years, designer Pedro Ruperto Mallosto created a fresh take on the traditional style, and it's a good-looking thing.

This futuristic take on Montreal was made in response to an Instagram design competition announced by Alfa Romeo. It reportedly came in second place overall out of all the entries, which is a good thing. 

Both the tall bonnet and the horizontal vents in the C-pillar are instantly recognizable as signature Alfa Romeo Montreal features. The incorporation of a four-leaf clover within the driving lights is another eye-catching detail.

It's quite improbable that this design, which was originally developed for a design competition, will ever see production. Then again, who can say for sure? In the end, this product successfully marries modern with classic elements.
