Honda Integra Type R from the DC2 generation is not only one of the best automobiles the Japanese automaker has ever produced, but it is also frequently referred to as the greatest front-wheel-drive sports car ever. Jordan Rubinstein-Towler, an automobile designer, has now envisioned what it would look like if it were resurrected for the globalized era.

The designer's fantasy Honda Integra Type R has comparable dimensions to the original, but it has all-new body panels that offer it a more contemporary look while maintaining apparent parallels to the classic. Jordan Rubinstein-Towler conducted an independent design study that has not been supported by Honda.

Integra Type R, for example, features thin headlights that are comparable to Japanese-spec DC2 versions, albeit these new headlights are now comprised of LEDs. Furthermore, the automobile has the same gaping broad grille as the original and a tiny inlet right below the red Honda emblem.

The beautiful design lines continue down the sides of the sports vehicle, with none of the unnecessary lines and angles that so many current automobiles have. Instead, there is a single line that runs from the front wheel arch to the back quarter panel, as well as a prominent shoulder-line that contributes to the car's aggressiveness.

Thin LED taillights, a huge rear wing, a prominent diffuser, and a single exhaust can all be seen at the back of the concept. The car's interior is unique, with a vintage three-spoke steering wheel and a two-tone red and black console. There's also a mechanical shifter and a computerized instrument cluster.

The automobile, according to Rubinstein-Towler, will be powered by a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated i-VTEC four-cylinder motor that generates 276 hp at 8,600 rpm. It would also include a limited-slip differential and a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox.
