R RYZR Concept Blends The Features Of A Car And A Motorbike

An all-electric concept car designed by SAIC Design has been unveiled for the R brand, the automaker's new all-electric sub-brand. According to the pics, it's a strange hybrid between an automobile and a motorbike named the R RYZR.

SAIC Design claims that the R RYZR represents the "ultimate marriage of man and machine" since it is a machine you wear rather than one you sit on. When you first get it, you have to put on a special jacket that locks into tabs on the seat before you can drive.

R RYZR

Images of the R RYZR suggest that it will lean into the bends, reminiscent of the Carver One from the 1990s. A motorbike rider can tilt the body into the apex by adjusting the suspension and steering components on hinges. To make use of this feature, the tires are curved like those of a bicycle.

R RYZR

It looks like a cross between an open-wheel racer and a sports bike. The delicate steering elements and front wheels are inspired by Formula One, while the arched rear end resembles an upscaled rendition of a superbike tail, although with an extra stabilizing fin.

R RYZR

R RYZR, like other existing concepts, is an electric car, as seen by the charging station positioned on the back fairing. Nevertheless, SAIC Design has yet to confirm the vehicle's battery pack size or the electric motor's performance.

R RYZR

According to SAIC Design, the R RYZR concept recognizes the shifting methods in which individuals get around. During the virus, public transportation has been replaced by personal vehicles, and this teeny-tiny car could help keep our streets from being overcrowded.

R RYZR

SAIC Design, situated in London, is the styling house for MG, Roewe, and the Chinese company's new electric-only brand, R. The MG Cyberster, the gaming-inspired MG MAZE, and an art vehicle modeled on the MG ZS are just a few of the designs that have come out of the studio since it launched in September 2018.
