Pininfarina has just presented the Enigma GT, an incredible new concept that makes its Geneva International Motor Show debut. The company characterizes it as a 2+2 grand tourer with a mid-engine configuration, which is a departure from totally electric concepts, despite its supercar-like appearance.

The Enigma GT is propelled by a 2.5-liter turbocharged V6 fueled by hydrogen that generates 436 horsepower and drives the rear wheels. A 268-hp electric motor mounted on the front axle and powered by a 10 kWh battery also creates a unique all-wheel-drive system.

With this configuration, the Enigma GT can reach 62 mph in under four seconds and reach a maximum speed of 155 mph. Efficiency is outstanding, with a stated range of 435 miles at 62 mph and roughly 342 miles on a mixed cycle.

Hydrogen filling is easy and fast; it takes five to six minutes to fill the tank again. The substantial use of carbon fiber in the body panels and monocoque chassis of the Enigma GT contributes to its comparatively light weight of 3,726 lbs, which further improves performance.

Beyond the technological specifications, the appearance of the Enigma GT is equally striking. Even though it's a large tourer, it's still small, standing 180.3 inches long and 48.4 inches high. The roomy 113.3-inch wheelbase makes the 2+2 seating arrangement possible. The dramatic full canopy opening, which draws inspiration from earlier Pininfarina ideas, enhances its remarkable appearance.

Enormous and contemporary inside, the interior features materials sourced responsibly and a clear OLED panel that shows the driver's vital information. In addition to providing comfort thanks to an integrated laminar airflow system, passengers can enjoy interactive entertainment. The Enigma GT's appeal is further enhanced with augmented reality interfaces and AI-driven driver assistance systems.

Additionally, Pininfarina will give a sneak peek at Foxxconn's Foxtron Model B electric crossover at the Geneva International Motor Show. Pininfarina developed the crossover, which is expected to go into production and has a 311-mile range.
