Outstanding New Aviator Concept Unveiled By Lincoln

Lincoln has revealed its commitment to electrification. Together with Shinola, Lincoln has joined to build a new luxury product.

The concept was designed as a creative partnership between the 2 firms to examine what an Aviator prototype could be like (with Shinola cues and inspired by Lincoln Aviator). There's a lot of beautiful leather and excellent stitching around the cabin, as you might anticipate.

New Aviator concept honors design and artistry and is inspired by Shinola luxury items such as the Canfield Sport watch and the Runwell bike. Shannon Washburn, CEO of Shinola, describes how the relationship started.

"We knew we had the same love for well-designed, beautifully manufactured items after our first encounter with the Lincoln team. Designers from both companies collaborated to design an ultra-luxe car that retains Shinola's approachable luxury style with thoughtful detailing. The metallic details inspired by our bike seats, as well as the logo strip inserted into the leather seats, demonstrate this."

Shinola's mother of pearl stone watches designs motivated the soft white whiskey leather with creamy suede, which is matched by bronze details, but special care was given to the woven textile stripe in the seating. This was resized to proportion after being based on the stitch of the classic Shinola stripe. After that, a blue tone was given to reflect Lincoln's many distinctive blue hues.

With more metallic accents and a woven metal mesh, the instrument panel emphasizes "the significance of texture." Although the design study is doubtful to see reality, we wouldn't be shocked if a special limited edition was born from it. The new Aviator concept will be on exhibit at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance later this month if you want to see it in reality.
