Mxtrem Maverick Is The Absurd Lovechild Of A Corvette And An F-22
by AutoExpert | 26 February, 2025
Alright, let’s get real. The Mxtrem Maverick is what happens when someone looks at a Corvette and says, “Yeah, but what if it could fly?”—and then actually tries to make it happen. It’s the brainchild of a new European company called Mxtrem Automobili, and while the renders look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, the details? Let’s just say they’re conveniently vague.
Mxtrem describes the Maverick as a “supercar with wings, big jet engines, and missiles that would make James Bond jealous.” Uh-huh. Sure. They also claim each one will be custom-built to match the owner’s taste—so, what, you can pick between mildly ridiculous and full-blown aircraft carrier?

Inside, and things get even weirder. Instead of a regular steering wheel, you get a yoke. The center console is decked out with a red toggle switch, a mysterious red dial, some control that looks ripped straight from an SU-27 fighter jet, and—because why not—an actual flight stick. What does it do? No clue. Maybe it fires the missiles. Maybe it just turns on the AC.

Mxtrem claims they’re only making 12 of these things, and apparently, a few spots are already “filled.” First deliveries are supposed to happen in December, but—minor detail—there’s no actual car yet. A prototype is allegedly coming in May, but let’s be honest… we’ll believe it when we see it.

Oh, and if you’re interested in buying one? Their website doesn’t tell you anything about the company, but it does have an application form. They don’t just want to know if you have the cash—they wanna know what cars you own, which events you attend, and even how big your social media following is. Because apparently, being Instagram-famous is now part of the purchase agreement.
