Mahindra Vision 2027 SUV Lineup Previewed By Four Bold Concepts

Mahindra has just lifted the curtain on its future, revealing four wild-looking SUV concepts that set the tone for what the brand wants to offer by 2027.
The spotlight naturally falls on the Vision.T and Vision.SXT, two chunky creations built with adventure in mind. For starters, the Vision.T is a classic five-door SUV with a tall stance and squared-off edges, while the Vision.SXT takes the same rugged DNA and morphs it into a pickup with an open bed and spare tires strapped out back. Both sit high on all-terrain rubber and look far closer to showroom-ready.

Backing them up are two more designs aimed at broadening Mahindra’s reach. The Vision.S feels like a pint-sized Defender, complete with roof racks, chunky fenders, and a spare wheel hanging off the rear. Meanwhile, the Vision.X ditches the rugged cues for something sleeker and sportier, hinting at where Mahindra’s future crossovers might be headed.

All four ride on the company’s new NU_IQ platform, a modular foundation that can host everything from gasoline and diesel to hybrids and full EVs. It’s versatile enough to support both left- and right-hand drive markets, and it promises roomy interiors, flat floors, and improved safety. That platform is going to be the workhorse for Mahindra’s next generation of SUVs.

Inside, Mahindra has clearly leaned into tech. Take, for example, the massive touchscreens, digital instrument clusters, and switchgear meant to feel both futuristic and functional. The cabins are still at the concept stage, but the vibe is clear: more comfort, more tech, more versatility.

Production models based on these show cars are set to arrive in 2027, with India getting first dibs before global markets see them. While concept cars often look like far-off dreams, these four look like they could roll into dealerships tomorrow.
