Automobili Lamborghini has rolled out an amazing super-concept car – Lamborghini Terzo Millennio. It carries an extremely futuristic view of the third millennium and blends innovative materials with energetic efficiency. Just looking at the pictures, we want to get in it and drive away…

In terms of energy consumption, Terzo Millennio uses electricity instead of regular gas, with systems that enable kinetic energy recovery for power generation. The battery pack is focused on delivering high performance, and the carmaker promises to work on an innovative capacitor that will ensure the required energy density.

The materials that are used reduce the car’s weight and thus, improve energy consumption. The nanomaterial technology will be improved so that the nanochargers get distributed into the CFK panels around the car body and parts, thus acting as electrical storage devices. 

All that bold stepping forward into the future comes packed in a wonderful architecture, allowing torque to be generated straight to the wheels. This comes courtesy of the electrical propulsion system that will be compatible with cables’ use. There is still the challenge to create all that architecture, but surely Lambo can handle that. 

This concept car takes care of the power sound too, since the V12 gets replaced by electric transmission. With no exact details having been made available, one thing is for sure: Terzo Millennio will have its own, very unique voice.
