Italdesign Quaranta - A Tribute To The Legendary Bizzarrini Manta!

Itladesign Giugiaro has decided to celebrate 40 years of activity by creating the Italdesign Quaranta. Nevertheless, you will notice that Quaranta has more things in common with Toyota Volta, which is also created by Italdesign.

The car is powered by a V6 Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive engine, which has a capacity of 3.3 liters and produces 268 hp at a torque of 212 lb. The creators have enriched this engine with electronic control which distributes and adjusts the power between the front electrical engines.

The batteries that provide the power to the electrical engines are situated in the engine and cabin compartment, also receiving energy from the roof solar panels and the renewable braking.

You will also find a Variable Electronic Transmission E-CVT feature, a six-phase automatic gearbox, all of it ensuring a time of 4 seconds necessary for the first 100 km/h to be reached.

The driver can access the cabin through a pass-in upper door, which also comprises the side doors. Just one electric button click is necessary for the door to open.
