Is the Audi Makaon Speedsailor really the car of the future?

This concept car is presumed to be possible to produce somewhere in 2040 when using alternative, renewable sources of energy will be a normal thing. Sustainable development has made automotive producers invest in races with cars powered by ecological sources of energy, sun, or wind, for example. Makaon Speedsailor is one of these cars.

The car fits two persons, the driver, and the co-pilot. There is a seating compartment included in the car, which floats from left to right in order to ensure the car with equilibrium in case of strong wind.

The concept car has a little solar airship, which actually pursues the car and has a photo camera and sensors included in it, that provides the driver with constantly updated information about the track and the general performances.

As you would expect, the car is very light weighted, so that it provides maximum speed during the races. The body is elegantly designed, with details that certainly make a difference between this concept and other usual cars.
