Ian Callum Teases Aston Martin Vanquish Shooting Brake With V12 Power

Think of the elegance of an Aston Martin Vanquish blended with the practicality of a long-roof grand tourer. Now picture it with a 5.9-liter naturally aspirated V12 and the option of a manual gearbox. That is exactly what Ian Callum teased on Instagram with his Vanquish Shooting Brake concept.
The design stretches the Vanquish 25 restomod into a sleek, elongated shape. It features a sharper front end with larger air intakes, deeper side skirts, a reworked rear bumper, and big, two-tone wheels filling the arches. From most angles it looks sensational, although a few details might divide opinion.

If it follows the mechanical formula of the Vanquish 25, the shooting brake would deliver 580 horsepower and give buyers three transmission choices. You could keep the original single-clutch automatic, switch to a smoother GM-sourced six-speed automatic, or go all in with a six-speed manual. The thought of a three-pedal V12 wagon is enough to make any enthusiast start mentally clearing garage space.

For now it remains a concept, but Callum made it clear that if enough people show interest, it could move to production. Big engines are on their way out, which makes this kind of indulgence worth savoring while it lasts.
