After Bentley's announcement last week to develop ten unique electric vehicles, here comes the Honda time to bring a contrary offer for the market promoting its new electric cars for the Chinese market. The first in line is the Honda SUV e: Prototype. Despite looking like the previous Honda Vezel / HR-V, this concept has a re-profiled front and rear.
Also, this is Honda's first electric vehicle prototype unveiled in China and scheduled to reach the market in the spring, next year.

Honda also plans to produce an e: Prototype to feature the global rollout that could become an HR-V model line-up. For the SUV e: front, the Japanese automaker designed the front of the new EV with a Vezel grill and extendable inwards alight arrays. The grille has a thin strip above the “H” badge remaining unlit, while the H itself is illuminated, with rear and full-length tail lights.

The design of the concept itself is a true evolution for Honda SUV e: -the EV sports radical and squat-looking three-door electric crossover that debuted at the previous 2020 Beijing Motorshow. Still, this one could be a stunning virtually external production-ready concept.

The crossover interior and performance details are yet to be revealed. But it is confirmed that Honda recently signed a deal with General Motor to use their Ultrium battery tech that is the best fit for the  Japanese's driving character. Now, everyone is eager to see the SUV e: Prototype out of the production line and convince themselves of the GM Tech and Honda pairing on the road.

The second unveiled car is the Honda Breeze PHEV concept. Based on the CR-V but with a much harper styling and, Chinese beloved added legroom making it longer than its global counterpart. This one will be manufactured via a joint between Guangqi Honda as the first plug-in hybrid manufactured Guangqi. And here comes the long-expected 2-motor hybrid system for a unique EV-like driving experience with lots of torque.
