Honda Takes CES By Storm With Futuristic Concepts And 0 Series Preview

Honda stole the spotlight at this year's CES in Las Vegas, revealing two futuristic concept cars—the Saloon and Space-Hub—and giving us a sneak peek into their upcoming 0 Series of electric cars.

The Saloon, which will serve as the first production model of the 0 Series in 2026 and first enter North America before expanding to other markets, stands out due to its design, which draws inspiration from wedge-shaped concepts from the 1970s.

While the Saloon boasts eye-catching gull-wing doors, it sits on a dedicated EV platform. Beyond its sleek design, the model offers a roomy interior with a human-machine interface (HMI) instrument panel and sustainable materials.

Technological advancements like steer-by-wire and motion control management systems are expected in the production version. On the other hand, the Space Hub gives us a taste of what Honda's 0 Series might bring. This minivan-like concept features a vast glass roof for panoramic views and a unique rear-end design with a rectangular lighting strip.

The isolated passenger compartment, equipped with opposing seat benches, allows flexible seating arrangements, creating a hub connecting passengers with each other and the outside world. Alongside these concepts, Honda unveiled a fresh “H mark” logo for their upcoming EV models, symbolizing two outstretched hands and reflecting Honda’s commitment to expanding mobility possibilities and meeting customer needs.
