Behold, a year after the launch of the most discerning M-car, BMW M4 Performance The Bavarian's Division comes to complete its success with a new concept, BMW M4 GTS. Its world premiere took place yesterday, August 13, in an event held in California.

Continuing the tradition of the BMW M3 exclusive Evolution (1988), BMW M3 Sport Evolution (1990), BMW M3 GT (1995) BMW M3 CSL (2003) BMW M3 GTS (2010), and BMW M3 CRT (2011), the Germans also launched the M4 GTS version. More horsepower, fewer kilos, improved performance, and a perfect look, this is the new GTS.

Although the Sportcar wears the concept sign, it will be seen in series production very soon, especially since the technologies implemented here have been tested on the car BMW M4 assistance MotoGP Safety Car. We mean the water injection system allows a six-cylinder petrol unit to remove some more horsepower to an M4 "regular".

Water vapor is injected into the intake manifold of the engine significantly reduces the air temperature "inspired" so that its volume is reduced and the degree of compression is reduced, allowing the mixture ignition advance and a higher guaranteed boost Twin Power system Turbo. So the BMW's engineers have taken another important step the turbo-aspirated engines.

The designers are those who took care of the GTS BMW Concept M4 and leave you speechless, opting for Dark Grey Metallic paint Frozen seasoned with touches of Acid Orange. They also chose a unique set of wheels with dimensions 9.5 J x 19 (on the front) and 10.5 J x 20 (rear) tires shod in Michelin Sport Cup 2 (265/35 R19 and 285/30 R20 at).

Also, the rear lights new are with OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology that will debut the first time on a production car.

The new model will also be seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month and then we will probably know and when will be launched the mass production of the new BMW M4 GTS.
