Recently, Genesis had a wild idea. They had the courage to ask on Twitter whether or not people would put down a $1,000 deposit to support the production of the Genesis X. Believe it or not, but it worked in a very positive way. Now Genesis USA is wondering if they should put it into production.

The concept itself was revealed less than 9 days ago and it's an all-electric coupe and according to Genesis spokesperson told this was purely a design statement. Also, he added that such a young brand with a growing product lineup and potential for many more exciting model lines. Feel free to just let your imagination run wild with Genesis.

Reaching such a positive reaction for their Genesis X project, they received such appellatives as strikingly handsome and gorgeous from Carscoops has been very positive. I called it strikingly handsome and gorgeous. Our commenters were fans of the design, too.

“If this concept truly makes its way to a production. Genesis will have a bright future ahead of them!!!!” said the PK commentator. So far, the brand revealed plenty of design details, but never tried to disclose any information no drivetrain details were confirmed. There are assumptions that a production version would be based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform which could ensure 310 miles of range and up to 600 horsepower, according to its ratings.

Despite everyone being enthusiastic about the Genesis’ #JustAsking hashtag, the project isn't nailed down already, but they were excited about their fans' encouragements for a two-door coupe to make an automaker seriously think about pouring the resources into making one.
