Ford RS160 concept comes from a future where races are still alive.

Surely you've heard of Colin McRae. In 1995, he won the World Rally Championship (WRC) driving the famous Subaru Impreza 555, and a few years later he moved to Ford's camp, where he won second place in 2001. Now, neither McRae nor Ford participates in the World Rally Championship, but a young designer imagined a world in which the US maker would race again.
Ford doesn't participate in World Rally Championship (WRC) since the end of 2012, but there was a time when everybody knew about the American cars in motorsport. Starting with the legendary Stig Blomqvist RS200 and continuing with Colin McRae's Focus WRC, Ford was making good race cars, even if those weren't always on top.
The good news is that Ken Nagasaka, a designer from Pasadena, United States, knows all this and decided to create a virtual concept for a possible official return of Ford in the WRC.
The prototype is called RS160 and comes with a 1.6-liter central-mounted engine.
