Ferrari LMP1: Although the moment you say, Ferrari, you think of Formula 1, you should be aware that the Italian brand from Maranello has fought with the Americans from Ford in order to achieve victory in the legendary race from Le Mans in the 60s.

However, the Italians have focused all of their efforts on Formula1 lately, although they haven't forgotten history.

Ferrari has been participating for some years now in the endurance races. It even won the 2014 edition of the famous 24-hour race from Le Mans, with a Ferrari 458 Italia, in LMGTE Pro class. Nevertheless, the name Ferrari is completely missing from the top class, named LMP1 (Le Mans Prototype 1), where Audi has been ruling for some good years now.

The Italians are thinking of coming back in the top of the endurance race, but they haven't done anything real in this direction yet. However, now the young Italian designer Daniele Pelligra has drawn on paper an LMP1 concept which looks simply fabulous.

Of course, chances that this car ever gets real are almost null, but we can only dream that one day, Ferrari will complete the LMP1 category in Le Mans, along with Audi, Porsche, and Toyota.
