This concept car represents a two-seat Roadster and it comes to celebrate Chevrolet's 100 years anniversary.

The name of the concept "Mi-ray" comes from the Chinese sign for the future, which at that time represented Chevrolet's newest model.

Design Studio GM has worked on this concept car, borrowing some inspiration from 1963 Monza SS and 1962 Corvair Super Spyder, but also including some details from the modern jet-fighters.

The body is made out of carbon fiber, with the chassis including an angled design, enhanced by the ambient line underneath the car.

The Mi-ray has a beautiful grid, enhanced with LEDs, along with the fiber carbon spoilers installed on the protective bar.

The car has retractable flaps, which ensure air's access and also ease the access to the charging socket, which also shows the status of the external battery.

The exterior of the car reminds us of a genuine jet fighter, with aluminum alloy, natural leather, white fabric, and a metallic glow. The interior of the car includes some carbon fiber finishing, focusing on the passengers' senses.

The Mi-ray concept introduces a new gauge cluster with a back projection for the control bar.

The car is powered by two frontal electric engines, producing 20 hp, ensuring zero emissions in traffic. There is a lithium-ion battery of 1.6 kWh feeding the engines, which can be charged through regenerative brake energy. The driver can choose between the front and back wheel drive.

There is also a 1.5 liters turbo engine, middle positioned, with four cylinders, helping the electric engines. A start-stop system works along with DCT.

The propulsion system is just perfect for the concept car, ensuring high performances in an eco-friendly frame.
