Chery Journeo Concept Turns Any Road Trip Into A Luxury Off-Grid Escape

Chery just pulled the wraps off the new Journeo concept, and this thing is built for adventure. It’s got height-adjustable air suspension, chunky airless tires, and a rugged design with silver skid plates, carbon-style cladding, and sleek digital side mirrors.
At 204.7 inches (5,200 mm) long, the Chery Journeo is slightly bigger than a Chrysler Pacifica, but it’s playing a different game. Up front, the Journeo has a modular frunk that’s way more than just extra storage—it holds seats, a mobile kitchen, and even a grill. Up top, you’ll find solar panels and a retractable awning for off-grid vibes.

Inside, the Chery Journeo is all about comfort and flexibility. The front seats swivel 180 degrees to face the rear, while the back bench is basically a luxury sofa that transforms into a bed. Swing the backrests out of the way, and you’ve got an uninterrupted view out the rear window. There’s also a panoramic glass roof, a suede-covered floor, retractable side steps, and even removable door panels that double as cushions.

Chery hasn’t spilled all the powertrain details yet, but the Journeo runs a hybrid setup with a 2.0-liter gas engine, an electric motor, and a three-speed transmission. It also packs a smart driver assistance system that helps with parking and even aids navigation at high speeds.
