Buick GL8 Flagship concept, which was shown shortly after the company's redesigned 2022 GL8 Avenir, is a step even further into the future. For the brand, it is an eye-catching and futuristic-looking concept that demonstrates its dedication to the luxury minivan market.

The project intends to generate a connected, clean, and intelligent travel place by combining sensory experience with cutting-edge tech.

Buick GL8 Flagship is based on the outside of the current model but combines multi-tone paintwork and aggressive visual design to move its style into the future. In addition to the illuminated grille and large, sophisticated headlamps that extend across the front fascia and down, the minivan sticks apart.

Nevertheless, due to its lounge-like design idea and luxury materials, the inside feel is dystopian. It has a rotating passenger seat and a couch-like bench seat, which is divided by a tea table that can move to serve only the back or front occupants.

The seats have a zero-gravity suspension, which Buick claims make them as pleasant as possible. Deep blue is complemented with a beautiful white and a sandy beige color in the interior, mirroring the exterior's multi-tone color palette.

The dashboard is filled with intricate designs, and the top provides a panoramic view with lights built into the glass that slowly illuminate the cabin. The majority of the infotainment elements, on the other hand, can be controlled with voice commands. Furthermore, a virtual reality vision system provides a fresh engaging human-vehicle interaction experience.

With active noise cancellation and revolutionary V2X technology, GL8 Flagship's passengers won't be disturbed by anything outside of the vehicle. The system aims to provide the driver with as much knowledge as possible by alerting them to actual info about other cars, traffic conditions, and weather.

For now, the Buick GL8 Flagship Concept is only a concept vehicle, but it serves as a clue that Buick plans to push into higher-end categories. This car was made specifically for Chinese consumers and Buick makes no mention of its powertrain.
