Audi Sport Quattro Gets Honored Through The E-Legend EL1 Concept Car

The concept car we’re going to tell you about today is called E-Legend EL1. It is a direct sign of respect and honor paid to the all-electric Audi Sport Quattro S1. The concept car is said to run on a total of 3 electric engines: two in the rear and one on the front axle. All engines combined provide a power of 804 hp.

The secret behind this power is a 90-kWh battery sharing the same technology of 800 volts with Porsche Taycan. According to Audi Motor Und Sport, this should be just right to provide fast charging. The battery is also said to come packed with a high-end liquid cooling system.

The performance figures are… performant, to say the least, as the battery ensures a 400-km capacity, while the first 100 km/h is reached in 2.8 seconds. The next hundred km/h comes a little slower, meaning that EL1 reaches 200 km/h in a little under 10 seconds.

As for E-Legend EL1’s design, this is obviously inspired by Audi Sport Quattro S1: a badass boxy shape, with rally-wannabe wheels and prominent wheel arches. Big headlights with LED daytime running lights complete the front design, alongside an Audi-alike hood, with 3 air vents. The rear’s design comes with pretty LED taillights and a spoiler.

But wait! There’s even greater news coming! We’re all used to seeing concept cars look amazing on paper and barely ever reach production. This isn’t the case, as E-Legend EL1 is planned to hit production with a 30-units lineup. The price is as catchy as the concept car itself – USD 1.19 million. Other EL2 and EL3 models are planned to join the Legend family sometime in the future.
