Artists' Contemporary Vision Of The Nissan Skyline GT-R

After being pulled from sale in Europe and Australia, the Nissan GT-R appears to be winding down its production. Artists Roman Miah and Avante Design take a look back at the history of the sports coupe to foresee its possible future forms.

The front end is strikingly similar to the R34 generation Skyline GT-R in its bulky design. The headlights and lower fascia include now horizontal LED strips for a contemporary look.

Even though the upper grille is tiny, the inlet is quite wide. A rear-facing scoop is added to the hood. Also, there are NACA vents near the windshield. The modern GT-R has a very similar profile. The model's angular features may be seen in the steeply sloping roof, wrinkled shoulder line, and stubby taillights. The GT-R is distinguished by its circular taillights in the rear. They resemble vents more than lights because the middle is dark.

In case you forgot, the current generation of the Nissan Skyline GT-R first appeared in the United States for the 2009 model year. Starting at 480 horsepower, it increased to 600 horsepower in the Nismo. The GT-R50 meanwhile is a special edition vehicle with 710 horsepower. While Nissan has confirmed plans to release a new iteration of the GT-R, the automaker has provided no release date information.
