Suzuki is preparing to unveil an updated iteration of its eVX Concept at the upcoming 2023 Japan Mobility Show. However, a forward-thinking digital artist known as Theottle has taken a bold leap into the future, offering a glimpse of his vision for the ultimate production version slated to hit the roads by 2025.

While the refreshed concept to be showcased on October 25 remains in its conceptual form, the Theottle drew inspiration from recent spy shots of a heavily camouflaged prototype to envision a more road-ready SUV.

The artist's illustration retains the fundamental design elements of the latest Suzuki eVX Concept, such as the sculpted fenders, plastic cladding, and a robust bumper design. However, it introduces several subtle changes, with the most noticeable being the slimmer headlights.

Other alterations include the use of production alloy wheels from Suzuki's current lineup, larger mirror caps, and the addition of roof rails. The designer also maintained the original two-tone exterior and aluminum-style accents on the lower body. Interestingly, these renderings were based on photos of the unrelated Skoda Kushaq, but all body panels were derived from the Suzuki eVX concept.

The eVX holds substantial importance for Suzuki as it represents their first global battery electric model. The automaker is targeting an impressive 500 km (311 miles) of range from a 60 kWh battery pack and boasts robust off-road capabilities thanks to an electronically controlled 4x4 system. Suzuki's eVX concept, according to the company, measures 169.3 inches in length, 70.9 inches in width, and 63 inches in height. This suggests that the production model will likely share a similar size with the SX4 S-Cross, slightly longer than the Vitara.
