Zhiji L7 Is The New Wireless Charging Electric Sports Sedan Offers A 118 kWh Battery With A 620-Miles Range

Sometimes a joint venture between companies can bring on the market something unique and Zhiji L7 is the perfect example. Created by Zhiji Auto, the project is the result of a joint between three parties -SAIC, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, and the Alibaba Group - contributing to create an autonomous vehicle. 

The idea of an L7 on the market was first presented in January, this year, when Zhiji Auto while hosting a brand launch conference. Two new vehicles were unveiled - an SUV and the L7, and the latter was the most intriguing with its promised bother an efficient wireless charging and an EV capable of reaching 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in less than 4 seconds.

The Zhiji L7 brings new reachable levels for the EV tech development standards. Zhiji brings an electric vehicle that is the first one to have an 11 KW wireless charging system. With a charging efficiency of 91% offers around 80 km from one single hour of charge. The biggest surprise is that it comes with two optional batteries the 93kWh is rated at 382 miles (615 km) and 118 kWh battery offering an electric sports sedan with a 621-mile (1000 km) range.

So far, it was confirmed that the Zhiji L7 will be equipped with 12 ultrasonic radars, 12 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and a lidar. The L7 will deliver up to 540 hp horsepower and 700 Newton-meters of torque of 700 Nm and it can reach 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds. The model will be available in three colors: Diana White, Repin Black, and Rapheal Tea.

For the interior, it will be a classic-futuristic style with a classic vender made from wood selected from Lake Como in the Italian Alps. The futuristic style is the 39-inch 4K resolution smart screen positioned across the dash panel along with an intelligent OS especially fitted for the L7.

 The Chinese automaker will start accepting reservations at the forthcoming 2021 Shanghai Auto Show that's scheduled starting April 19  up until 28th, while the deliveries should start the first half of 2022.
