Would you buy a 2016 McLaren 650S for $273,600?

Starting December 2016, you will be able to purchase a 650S Coupe for $273,600 or a 650S Spider for $288,600 and an additional $4,100 destination charge. The good news is that there won't be any gas tax for those models.
Recall that the 2016 prices are higher by $4,000 compared to the previous year. But McLaren said they are offering additional equipment worth $22,500 to make up for that price increase.
These features include carbon fiber splitter, side skirts, rear bumper, and interior carbon trims with a choice of racing seats. The package also includes the McLaren Technology Package: front lifter, adjustable seats, Meridian surround system, parking sensors, back up camera, and car cover. All these features offered as options in 2015 models.
Competitive buyers should take a look at the McLaren Track Telemetry App which is a $2,830 option that provides real-time data to improve track time. Another useful option is the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires which are exclusive to McLaren cars.
