Wireless Apple CarPlay And Android Auto Thanks To Harmann

We're sure that most of the drivers will appreciate the latest innovation coming from Harmann, that bring into our attention wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Maybe some of the drivers are ok with having their smartphones plugged into their car devices, but that will soon be a forgotten thing. Harmann has come up with a blend of WiFi and Bluetooth technology, making comfort reach a new level.

Although Harmann hasn't yet launched the new technology, it did release a teaser video, revealing how the system works in a BMW. Harmann has announced that the technology will be available at first in an anonymous German car brand. Wonder which one will that be, now that we have seen BMW feature in the video?

The wireless technology enables the drivers to use their phone, as usual, play music and open applications, along with voice control. It is still a mystery if the drivers will be able to upgrade their existing technologies to the new one, although in the past, that was possible.

A study has revealed that the drivers usually prefer to use the navigation system integrated into their phones, instead of using the car's one. That is because the smartphone's interface is usually much easier to be used. Now, with Harmann's innovation, that problem would be solved.
