AMG division is known for producing performance vehicles that overlap the fine line between grand tourers and supercars.
Mercedes AMG SLS was amazing on normal roads but had issues with circuits.
Thus Mercedes has set the Porsche 911 as a benchmark for the new AMG GT S. The people from XCAR have tested it and said it is a special vehicle and has what it needs to get in the supercar league.
