(Watch) McLaren P1 Can Be Faster With Proper Tires

Chris Harris is the lucky guy that managed to organize a matchup of the hyper trinity: Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1.

Harris sat behind the wheel of all 3 cars and race them on the track to see which one is faster.

Originally both LaFerrari and the P1 were dressed in the same tires but Harris wanted to find out just how much faster McLaren can go if wearing proper tires.

So he equipped the P1 with Pirelli Trofeo R tires. The results were extremely interesting as with the new tires, the P1 cut 1.79 seconds off its original time.

The new time obtained by P1 is leaving the other two contenders far behind!
