Ford will be back in the grueling Le Mans 24 hour race in 2016 and this GT racing version will tackle the job
This is the racing version of the Ford GT which had its premiere at Detroit Auto Show in January of this year.
The GT we think was meant to compete against the Corvette and Ferrari so it will be interesting to see how Ford will do when it goes up against the Italians.
Ford decided to bring it out from under wraps and shot a not so secret, secret video aptly titled The Secret Shakedown. We thought secrets were supposed to be secret, however, we are glad to see it in the open.
The car sports a 3.5 L twin-turbo V6 Ecoboost. The Ecoboost at the end doesn't sound all that sports car, but it does have an awe-inspiring sound to it.
It will be interesting to see how far the street-legal version strays from what we see here.
