VW Golf GTI TCR For Customer Racers

Volkswagen offers a revised version of the track-tuned Golf GTI for customer racers as they are no longer participating in the World Rally Championship. This model won two championships last year. The new VW Golf GTI TCR is developed in order to meet the reasonable Touring Car Racing regulations.
It is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine and has a body 6 inches wider than the road-going version. It has also got a massive aero kit, a stripped-out cockpit, and 18-inch racing rims.
GTI has a power of 350 hp with enhanced delivery. The aerodynamics has been improved for more downforce, less drag, and better cooling. The model also features a sequential gearbox that improves control and electric power.
There were sold twenty Golf GTI TCRs since its debut last season and this year they have scheduled about thirty more. Its price starts at $90,000 (plus taxes).
