VW Amarok receives double engine from MTM!

As a tuner MTM is considered quite extreme, MTM tuned Audi being powerful force, a VW Amarok pick-up tuned by MTM is not likely to be very slow.
Volkswagen Amarok is a car that inspires much strength and power, which motivated the tuners from MTM to outbid, but not by tuning the top engine 2.0 TDI 180 HP, but by replacing it with a higher engine.
As was the case with VW: the Amarok model gets a 4.2 liter V8 TDI, the Touareg known or Audi Q7 engine that now develops a maximum power of 410 HP and a maximum torque of 930 Nm. Imposing values which gives the German pick-up that are very close performance of a hot hatch very easy: just 6 seconds to start from 0 to100 kmph and a top speed of 220 kmph.
Those performances have necessitated changes to the rear suspension, which was dropped in favor of leaf springs on the air combined with a Panhard rod and the reels are replaced by disc brakes for safe braking behavior at high speeds. Larger wheels, 22-inch succeeded to get respect to the imposing German pick-up.
