Volswagen ID.1 All-Electric-Car Will Feature The MBA Platform By 2026

Volkswagen all-electric cars are beautifully wrapped under the ID branding and the automaker announces that the line will expand to 2025. They released photos of their new project - a sub-ID.3 slot that will arrive in 2025. Despite the rumors before, it's a small celebration to have a VW ID.3 all-electric option on the market. 2026 is a promising year. We might get the future Level 4 "highly automated" driving.

The project is believed to have started in March, last year, according to a report. They reveal some specification details, such as the two-battery options - 24kWh with a range of 185 miles and 36kWh with 298 miles range. Until then we expect some changes based on the latest starting November. The Volkswagen company already replaced the Up! with a smaller model, while the "Polo" name will be changed into "ID.2."

Volkswagen 2025 should launch ID.2, ID.3 models, and there are rumors about an actual ID.1 which could cost a $20,000 affordable price on the European market. Another VW project to work on until 2025 is the long-expected ID.1 MEB platform to underpin a breadth of VW and VW Group EV.

There's not a 100% established name for the ID.1 models, but it undergoes under the "Project Trinity" - the idea behind an all-electric sedan capable of the future Level 4 "highly automated" driving. This new platform would revolutionize the possibilities of the next generation's EVs. The ID.1 launch date is expected in 2026, to make sure that everything is tested and is according to all the regulatory systems.
