Volkswagen Nivus Will Reach European Market Later This Year And That's Good News

The latest compact model offered by Volkswagen - 2021 Volkswagen Nivus is set to arrive in Europe later, this year. The first lucky customers were the Brazilians and the Mexican, where were the initial official launches. Based on the T-Cross SUV, this VW Nivus, and everyone in Europe expects their turn to buy one. 

Sporty and vibrant, this crossover has a pellicular character, Nivus has substantial differences from the based-on T-Cross. Starting with a lower coupe-style roofline, making it visually longer and wider. The MQB A0 platform that is based-on is shared with the 2021 VW Taigun recently revealed.

The official launch on the European market was confirmed during Volkswagen's annual media conference and was only confirmed in the fourth quarter of the year, without a specific date.  Despite the fact that the Nivus was developed for the South American market, the automaker decided that it would fit the European market also. 

Knowing that The Brazilian customers got a VW Nivus, It would be fair to develop an infotainment system adapted for the Europeans. The Brazil-infotainment was named VolksPlay on a 10.0-inch HD and a built-in Wi-Fi. The  South American version systems' durability and water resistance sure long-term reliability. The firm was able to perform a test of the electrical car's system to see what happens in 10 years of use. 

Other adaptations for the Brazilian version were adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking features, keyless entry, six airbags, a driver drowsiness detector, and a digital dashboard. Everyone is eager to see the official features of the VW Nivus European-version, especially since no engine tech specs weren't revealed.
