Volkswagen Climate Windscreen Has Unseen Defrosting Abilities

If you got sick of all sorts of de-icing sprays and ice scrapers, than you should buy a car that features the new Volkswagen Climate Windscreen. The technology has the capacity to defrost the windscreen without any wires involved.
The secret is in the wafer-thin layer of electrically conductive silver that is integrated in the glass. 400 to 500 watts are rapidly heating the windscreen and defrost the snow or ice on it.
Besides that, the windscreen is also heated by tiny filaments that also prevent the ice from forming again on the glass. The filaments are so thin, that the driver will never notice them.
The European VW model, like Tiguan, Golf, Passat and Sharan, are already featuring this technology as an optional feature, available for approximately $363.
