Vision Gran Turismo Series welcomes Aston Martin DP-100 Supercar Concept!

Aston Martin is preparing a new digital concept that is intended to be shown at the Sony Vision Gran Turismo, making it one of the main competitors.
DP-100 concept is the vision of the main Aston Martin designer, Marek Reichman, of how an elegant and retro-style futuristic supercar should look like.
The DP-100 concept is somehow an exception from what the regular Aston Martin car looks like.
According to Reichman, "DP-100 was a challenging project, which comes in an aerodynamic, active and revolutionary shape, improving the car's functioning".
In spite of DP-100 being still just a digital concept, Aston Martin has already worked on a twin-turbo V12 propulsion system, mid-engine, which will produce 597 kW.
"Just like the case of Speedster Concept CC100, lots of the design element used on DP-100, like the backlights, will also be able to be used on the upcoming sports cars which will be released in the real world, so the importance of this project cannot be undermined."
Considering how seriously Aston Martin is taking the projecting process of the DP-100 details, it will be no surprise when we see some of its key elements in the real world pretty soon.
